It actually worked. Like, it got the linebacker AND safety out of the way (flowing left) so that Mahomes could throw right to that spot.

Unbelievable.

The play calling on the last drive was fine.

Pat misread an RPO and took a 6-yard loss.

And then they ran a screen play that had THREE linemen on the edge and failed to block anybody.

The offense didn't execute. It had nothing to do with play calling.

Tyreek Hill:

“His creativity — just him being around coach Reid. Coach Reid is wearing off on Pat — just the creativity, and the ideas that both of them have, collaborating. EB too — EB right there in the mix, too, so it’s just crazy.

Any holdouts from other teams want to still claim that they're not utterly and completely fucked for as long as Patrick Mahomes is taking snaps in this league?

“I know we’re going to have something fun after the bye week. I’m just looking forward to it.”

If you are an offensive weapon in the NFL, how could you not want to play on this Team with Pat/Andy?

so much fun ...

"Ferrari Right" is the only play I can ever remember where the QB takes the snap while in motion.

I missed part of the game. Was that because of an injury along the line?

No, it was because he's fully healthy. He's the starter.

“It was one day at practice, he was like, ‘10, 10, 10, come over here, I got a play for you!’ ... I was like, ‘Bro, what are you doing? Why don’t you just line up and snap the ball?’ But it turned out to be a great play."

I love Tyreek's quotes. He gives good interviews.

Having a guy with a mic following Tyreek around would provide lots of entertainment

I remember when my flag football team was screwed on a play like this. Bush league move.

Surprised more folks don't want to talk about this. They didn't do it to look fancy or make SportsCenter or whatever. It actually WORKED to move the defenders where they wanted them. It's one things to run something unique (for general confusion or just to have something new). It's entirely different when it does EXACTLY what it was meant to do. These guys are operating on another level.

it looked like that was a fake for a direct snap/wildcat look that is what I saw first and that is what the LB's saw probably as well
