Hammy Watkins is no surprise.

Schwartz has been iron man for a while, though.

Dammit, I was worried about this. Obviously its just not responding to treatment hope its not chronic. John Alt was able to play with chronic back pain but its rare.

I’m sure they thought he’d be good by now. Unfortunately not the case.

Hopefully we can overcome it and avoid matchups that will kill us at RT.

Losing Schwartz for the season could be devastating. He’s so good at what he does.

We’ll find out pretty quick against Barrett and JPP in Tampa

Was elite... not this year though. That RT position has been average at best since week 1 of this 2020 season.

This is where Andy has to step back and honestly assess the situation — Remmers is actually maybe a better run blocker than Schwartz was. You have Bell and CEH. I think we’ve gotta continue to run the football and run it behind him even more so.

If/when we run into Pittsburgh, we can’t just let Watt tee off on Remmers. Yeah, take what the defense is giving you, but odds are that’s going to include a lot of favorable run looks.

No need to rush him back, especially with his history. Get him right so he is good to go when January football comes around and you’ll be changing your tune talking about Sammy Sammy Sammy

I've heard it's the shoulder as well and the issues may be career-ending. He was planning to retire at the end of this deal, anyway (2 more years after this).

It's extreme third party (someone who is friends with Schwartz's sister-in-law), but it is out of Cleveland.

Yeh, he's getting to the point where it's more likely he's going to be calling off than not. Sad because he brings a lot to the game when he's in.

Exactly.

All that matters with Sammy is that we get him 100% for January.

That’s all that matters.

You're done with Sammy? What does that even mean? When he plays will you turn off the game? Will you be disappointed when he makes a catch? What does it mean when some random fan says he's done with a player?

Ultimately this....def wouldn't have won without him last postseason.

But I'll be glad when he's gone next yr. His shit is getting quite old. Chiefs didn't tolerate this with Dee Ford. As soon as they saw the writing on the wall with his inj they shipped him outa town.

But Watkins is an asset to Mahomes. Thats his free pass.

This will now be the 2nd straight season where Sammy does a disappearing act for most of a reg season.

Would like the Chiefs to pay/play a guy that can be on the field more often than 4-5 games a reg season.

Goodbye Schwartz. You and Fisher had expiring contracts at the end of season. We will only re sign one and that will be the greatest TE/OL in Eric “Stone Cold” Fisher

RunKC
11-21-2020, 04:50 PM
Man it seems like we have consistently had OL injuries throughout the last few years.

Morse was constantly hurt, LDT went on IR, Wylie missed time frequently (thank God for that), Fisher out over half of last year, Schwartz on IR this year, Osemele on IR.

I’d really like Veach to get a C in the 2nd rd this spring and then try to get another LDT/Fulton developmental pick in the late rds again.

I did. I’ve eaten crow on it and will do so again here, in case you missed it. What I was saying was based on what was relayed to me by someone who had seen/read the initial police report.

What I heard early on was wrong because Espinal was apparently lying.

In an overwhelming majority of those cases, those statements are not lies. If a victim starts to withdraw or recant the complaint, in most cases it is intimidation. This looks clearly like an exception case (as seen by who the state of KS awarded custody to after its investigation).

Best thing out of all of this is that it looks like the kids have landed with the stable parent who is going to give them the best upbringing.

We can't believe all women (or men) because 5-7% of the population are sociopaths. They will lie, cheat, manipulate any chance they get. Due process is important, or used to be. I like how lately in the NFL though they are letting it play out more than they used to.
