How is it that teams/players can never learn?

Like, Gruden was fined for not wearing a mask and he does it again knowing draft picks could be taken? Egos are at an all time high during the worst time, in a pandemic.

The NFL seems to be inconsistent with it's procedure regarding fines and covid cases.

Ravens have a few covid positive cases the game is moved to a later date. The Raiders have some positive cases the game is moved sooner time. Titans received no fine or draft pick taken away after their stunt. I guess it's a case by case bases.

Yup. Chiefs have a video on their Facebook page from 6 days ago showing the locker room celebration after beating the Raiders.

Lots of gathering and high fives/hugs with only 1 mask in the entire video.

I think Le’Veon posted an Instagram story of about 10 players on the field racing remote controlled cars, only one player wearing a mask and everyone within 2-3 ft of each other.

Teams aren't listening because these penalties are all window dressing. $500K to a billionaire owner is pocket change. Losing 7th round pick is similar. If you really want to send a message start taking 1st or 2nd round picks. Pretty sure if that happened you would see far fewer of these incidents.

Exactly what I said weeks ago.

The Titans screwed up and got treated like MARTYRS. No fines, no draft picks lost, AND every talking head talked about how resilient they were.

Then the Raiders come along and Gruden gets docked a few thousand out of his $100 MILLION contract and they dock them a low draft pick.

Until the penalties get REAL, they aren't going to listen.

It's been tested and shown that out on the field it is very difficult to transmit the virus. All the motion, wind etc seems to prohibit transmission quite a bit.

We've all been tired for a while of Goodell improvising. The mlb, nhl, nba have an excuse for planning this on the fly. The NFL has no excuse. They had time to plan this and once again Goodell has no plan except to react when things get really bad. Instead, rules are inconsistently enforced, discipline is inconsistent. Even something so damn simple like building in an extra bye week was not planned for.
