Seems only fair as I am sure all their fans are always talking about us.
I don’t see that changing anytime soon.
Enjoy your pot. Broncos fans, you are going to need an escape for the foreseeable future.
I remember that hell. I don’t miss it.

Perhaps the league could allow the Broncos, Jets, Bengals, and Detroit to play some sort of “best ball” where each of these four teams gets a play and they get to use the best play as their official one? It would at least take longer for them to lose.

What would Mahomes’s stats look like if he played for a coach like Harbaugh who loves the garbage stats?

It sure seems like Reid is very comfortable shutting things down when the game seems out of hand.

Why Not?

The Dolphins game could actually be a trap game.

Their D is good enough that it could give us issues ala the Colts last year.

But Mahomes ankle, and our OL, are in far better shape.

Plus I see their run D is just absolute trash. That might be a big game for Clyde.

Agreed, the dolphins actually have legitimate talent on both sides of the ball.

Their match-up with us wouldn't be dissimilar to the effort the raiders gave us.

What's the deal with Lock? Or whoever they have as QB2/3? Any chance at all that one of them will play on Sunday? I can't imagine what the spread will be if Hinton has to get under center against us next week. It'll look like a Bama spread vs. KEN or something. -35.5 anyone?

Honestly if the Saints are still starting Taysom Hill the Dolphins game might be as tough as any of them. Dolphins have weaknesses but they have some playmakers in the secondary, and when they beat Cincy next week they'll have won 8 of 10. They can play up/down to their opponent though. They whipped the Niners when they were healthy, blew out the Rams, but also lost to the Broncos.

Getting way ahead of ourselves, but the Dolphins game could be interesting. They've got at least one takeaway in something crazy like 15 straight games and obviously we don't give the ball away very often. With two great CBs, potentially they could give us some trouble. Fitzpatrick is definitely capable of carving us up, too.

pugsnotdrugs19

When you look at it on paper, we’ve got no games left that we should lose, but we have a few that could definitely slip away if they don’t show up to play.

But I believe in this team locking in here as games become more meaningful — barring some bad luck I think they go 15-1.

I expect them to start Winston in that game. There's no way that Hill can keep up with this offense. Winston can, if he can keep from throwing interceptions. Which, it looks like those interceptions had a lot to do with Arians offense. Even Brady is throwing career high interceptions this year. That may have gotten him the starting job, but confirmation bias will allow him to keep it. They are now 2-0 in blowout wins against garbage teams with Taysom starting. By the time the Saints play us they'll be riding a 4-game win streak with Taysom. There won't be any catalyst to make a switch.

That's not a trap game. That's just a real game by a competitive team. They destroyed the NFC West. Think about that.

I’m calling it now. Dolphins are frauds and far worse than their record. If they don’t get takeaways, then they cannot compete with the actual good teams.

They allow more yards per game than the Chiefs despite teams pulling out all the stops against KC. I doubt the Dolphins have seen many trick plays, fake punts, teams going for it on 4th, teams passing late to try and catch up, teams staying aggressive, etc.

Here is their total yardage against opponents this year:

Patriots - 269
Bills - 410
Jaguars - 294
Seahawks - 415
49ers - 436
Jets - 302
Rams - 145
Cardinals - 312
Chargers - 280
Broncos - 223
Jets - 345

That’s 3 good offensive performances on the season. The Bills and Seahawks are awful on defense (and they were even worse earlier in the season). I’m pretty sure the 49ers had several injuries too.

The Dolphins are 3rd worst in total offense and middle of the pack in total yards allowed.

The Dolphins NEED turnovers to compete. I’m not worried about them in the least. We would have to have an absolute collapse against them to lose that game.

I also find it odd that Andy hasn't dialed up more passing plays for both CEH/Bell. Considering their skillsets you'd think we'd be seeing at least 10 catches between them per game. Maybe he's saving it for the playoffs? Guess we'll see if they get more targets over the next 4-5 weeks.

Saints actually seem like they could give us problems if Brees arm checks out in February. They are built very similarly to the Raiders.

Armstead, Peat, McCoy, Ruiz and Ramczyk are easily a top 5 OL with Kamara, Thomas, Cook and Sanders as their weapons.

Not really worried about Brees but more-so our DL getting destroyed like it did vs the Raiders.

I hope we blow Miami up seems they’ve always had are number, it’s time for some pay back

The Chiefs have won both of their games vs the Dolphins with Andy as HC (double digit victories).

You have to go back to the Fat Scott Dark Ages almost 10 years ago for the last Chiefs loss to them.

Those are the games I don't worry about...if the strength of a team is their defense when facing the Chiefs.

Chiefs offense can score 30+ on any defense. If that team has a weak offense going against the Chiefs...our defense is good enough to hold them under 20.

That's the teams that don't scare me. That's why the Steelers don't scare me.

It looks like the donks are in a long-term decline. Elway is screwing up as GM and it doesn't look like ownership cares. What a perfect time for the Chiefs to be looking at an incandescently bright future. I look forward to many beat-downs of the donks in the coming years. Let's start that by kicking the crap out of them on Sunday.

No matter what it will be a rout.

On paper, it should be 50-6, Chiefs.

But Andy won't run up the score, and Spags isn't going to spend the health of the defense on DEN, so something like 30-15 (give or take a few points either way) is probably closer to what the final score looks like. Basically once we've got a two score lead, Andy will call off the dogs, run a little more, we might kick a couple fields goals, and DEN might get either a couple FGs or a TD late in the 4th to make it look a tad more respectable.

It would be difficult to argue against your first two points.

As for the third, a stack of paper owns the Broncos, and control is in the hands of three people who risk losing their very lucrative jobs shortly after that stack of paper is no longer the owner. The stack of paper itself hasn't shown that it cares one way or the other.

It's a predicament that the NFL should never allow again.

At what point does Andy start benching the 1s in this game? Would before the half be in the realm of possibility? How many points before Reid calls off the dogs and puts them back in the kennel? 30-0? 40-0?

Christ on a crutch. Did you guys see the stat line for Hinton today?

1/9 13 yds 1.4 yd/att 0 TDs 2 INT 0.1QBR 0.0PRTG

That's horrible even for a WR.

I've never seen anything remotely like that before. Not even Tebow was that bad.

Mahomes would put up better numbers than that playing left-handed with a broken ankle.

Mahomes threw for 200 and 1 TD despite losing 3 full possessions to a kick return TD, interception return TD, and a Keizer fumble on the first play of a drive.

It’s not unrealistic to think those 3 possessions easily could’ve ended with an additional 100 yards and a TD or 2.

If Mahomes throws for 300 yards and 2-3 TDs, then it’s another great game.

On paper they should, and they might. But I still think it's a lot more likely that we win by a couple TDs. Andy won't run up the score for the sake of scoring, and they do have a decent defense. They just have no offense to speak of.

And I don't see Spags running anything exotic at all if he can help it. I wouldn't be surprised at all if both Andy and Spags run some fairly vanilla stuff, establish a two score lead early, and just coast the rest of the way. This isn't college after all. We just need the W and get everyone home healthy.
