Im confused. Does this sit us at the 1 seed now?

Im not sure what criteria they use first. Is it conference record, or strength of schedule?

Yeah Pittsburgh is still the #1 seed. They haven't lost to a conference opponent and the Chiefs have. They need to lose to the Bills, Colts, Bengals or Browns and Chiefs have to win out to get the #1 seed. Is that right? I don't know...they changed shit this year...

I'm happy 3 ways for this:

Steelers lose
Alex gets a nice win
Pretty much guarantees the Cowboys can't pull something out of their ass and win the NFC east

I don't know that the steelers are all that good to take 3 of those. Those are mostly good teams and Pittsburgh is overrated.

If we both finish 14-2, both with 1 loss to an AFC and NFC opponent, does it go to strength of schedule or strength of victory or something?

Imagine a Chiefs vs WFT super bowl. It’s a long shot but with Washington’s defense I wouldn’t say it’s impossible

I always believed in Alex's ability to lead decent teams to the playoffs (and no further). He'll do it again this year.

Depends on which AFC team they lose to. If they lose to Buffalo, we win by common opponents.

If they lose to the Browns, Bengals, or Colts, it goes to strength of victory.

Bills will beat them in Buffalo. Also think Browns will avenge their big loss.

Why Not?

Common games first. Which is why the Bills game matters more than any other on their schedule. If they beat the Bills, they'll each tie in common games with a perfect record and it will go to strength of victory.

first 3 wins in a row since Alex's leg was pristine.

I haven’t seen you this happy in a LONG time!

I gotta give credit where it’s due, though. Congratulations on your boy, man. He really came through for us!

Yep.

And I believe then that they need to lose to Cleveland first or the Colts 2nd - that will give them the lowest strength of victory.

If they should lose to the Bengals but beat the Browns and Colts, I believe they'll win the tiebreaker.

Guess we'll really be rooting for Buffalo then. The ESPN power index is pretty telling on who the real top dog in the league is.

No longer completely worthless as a football player!!!!

H never was worthless as a football player. He was the best available. Kind of a sad statement. And I will NEVER forget how some of you hung on to Geno Smiths ball sack like he would have been the SAVIOR:LOL:!!!

No, Alex was the best available and a great tutor to the real savior. I wish him well unless he is facing our Chiefs.
