They gotta figure out the QB situation, but Rivera is a solid coach. They have legit offensive weapons in Gibson and McLaurin. I can definitely see them being competitive the next few years as long as Snyder doesn't do something stupid with Rivera. Honestly their future outlook might be better than any team in that division at this point.

He had enough weapons most years to make other QB's jealous, but the team as a whole just couldn't put it all together... by the time 2017 rolled around it was too late for him here

We actually got his best shot in 2017 with Mahomes breathing down his neck, he was going deep like never before... a valuable lesson he seemingly took into Washington

Me too. He's really had a great season, all things considered. I hope whatever happened he's okay, and will be back before the end of the season. Especially if they ,make the playoffs. Alex deserves a lot of the credit if they make it in, and he should get a chance to lead WAS into their first playoff game in two hundred years.
