Right now I would much rather be the Browns than Lions. Dorsey isn't a bad GM, their coach appears to be pretty good at maximizing what talent he has etc..

Same thing will likely happen with Chiefs coaches over the next few years.

Teams will try and replicate our offense, while the reality is that oftentimes success is a product of transcendent individuals, and no matter how many coaches or front office personnel you try and pull from that system, without those transcendent individuals, you won't have the same level of success.

Why the hell would they go from one Bill B loser in Patricia to another? Pioli is a bum. Did they not notice the Falcons got worse the minute he showed up? Did they not see what happened here?

Yeah, I saw what happened after he arrived in Atlanta. Pioli ran the draft beginning in 2015, with Dimitroff taking on other responsibilities.

2013: 4-12
2014: 6-10
2015: 8-8
2016: 11-5, lost the Super Bowl in Overtime to the Patriots
2017: 10-6
2018: 7-9
2019: 7-9

I hated the Pioli hire the second it was announced and couldn't wait for him to be fired. I was on his ass every day for 4 straight years. That said, people do learn from their mistakes and Pioli was integral in putting together their Super Bowl roster.

All that said, he's not the Chiefs problem any longer, thankfully.

Gary Cooper
12-17-2020, 02:36 PM
The sad thing is that Detroit is a football town at heart. Those fans deserve a lot better. They haven't seen a home playoff game since 1992. That's futility even the Chiefs and Bengals couldn't touch all these years. They would benefit from an ownership change.

Jacksonville Couple Successfully Mates To Help Save Endangered Jaguars Fan Base

JACKSONVILLE, FL—Scoring a victory for NFL preservationists worried that these rare creatures could disappear forever, local Jacksonville couple Michael Larson, 30, and Brittany Gill, 28, successfully mated Tuesday in an attempt to help save the endangered Jaguars fan base. “This population has dwindled down to practically nothing over the last decade, so any news of potential new Jaguars fan being born is wonderful,” said local Jaguars activist Brian Hodge, who claimed that without additional breeding programs and support from the local government, the next generation may never see these beautiful fans in their black, teal, and gold coats. “Jaguars fans occupy a very small habitat along the Atlantic coast where they are in constant threat by encroaching Bucs and Falcons markets. Sadly, many young Jacksonville fans will die in boating or hunting accidents before reaching sexual maturity, but once they breed they can produce a dozen offspring, and most of those will go on to become adult Jaguars fans. So we still have hope this population will endure.” At press time, the survival of the young Jaguars fan was in question after the mother lost her job at Hobby Lobby and started talking about moving to Houston.

Since Synder bought that team about 20 years ago, I believe they have won two playoff games. He had nothing to do with the SB winning era, in fact he hired Joe Gibbs the SB coach and he failed. He hired Steve Spurrier and he failed, he fired Marty Schottenheimer after one season and he was 8-8 in his first season, Jim Zorn interviewed for the quarterback coach and he made him head coach for a season and you could he was lost as a head coach, he had Jay Gruden, he's had so many coaches it's hard to keep track. Yeah, the Redskins were constantly on the air in KC back in the 80's and early 90's, so I watched a lot of their games, too. They've most certainly been dogshit during Snyder's tenure but I think they finally have a solid foundation in Ron Rivera.

I'm not gonna defend that Dorsey pick but the 3/4 we ran his 2nd year did him no favors. He was much better suited for Herm's cover 2, just rushing the passer.
