My favorite story about Tommy Lasorda is when Fernando Valenzuela was pitching for the Dodgers. Fernando didn’t speak a lick of English and when Lasorda came out to the mound to bring in a reliever the other players had taught Fernando to say “Take a hike fatso!” RIP
