I tell ya what... I don’t know what it is about it, but Henne’s game-clinching heroics hit me in the feels HARD. Patrick’s injury and just hoping he wasn’t permanently damaged via neck injury had me on an emotional roller coaster to begin with...but Chad Henne of all guys. A QB who has always been synonymous with “meh” to me... Putting his neck on the line and grinding it out at the end and putting his body in harms way while doing so and seeing how STOKED he was after he did it, followed by the nice things he had to say about KC afterwards.... It made me bawl. That moment is seriously in my top 3 favorite sports moments ever along with the Chiefs SB win last year and David Freese’s Game 6 heroics in the 2011 World Series. Favorite sports moments ever...I can’t pinpoint why, but Chad Henne... I would have never guessed in a million years.

That man will go down as one of my favorite ever Chiefs.
