This is the SB, they need the more reliable and faster test before someone tests positive around them, and the player is out of the SB.

Some equipment geek that put Mahomes shoulder pads in his locker tests positive for Covid? Is Mahomes out?

I get it, it’s only Monday, but if these two are the only guys you lose to COVID... that can’t be any sort of reason you lose the football game.

I'm more worried about who they might have been in touch with in the WR room and OL room, although, the close-contacts would have picked those up too and put them on the list, so hopefully it is contained.

Pringle is an incredible blocker. Again, he literally lined up in a 3 pt stance at TE against the Bills. He's also fast and had almost identical combine results as Jerry Jeudy. He may not be a star, but he's a hell of a weapon for a UDFA.

I'll take that with a huge grain of salt - from what they've said, that is on a list of things players cannot do this week, including just going to a grocery store.

The teams will provide everything they need, including barbers before the game.

And this team has been really good at avoiding outbreaks all season, tough to imagine seeing them do stupid shit now.

I seem to remember it more than once. Like it was the ad he had to read.

Perhaps it was only once, but if so, I did in fact hear it, and in my mind, it was a regular occurrence.

Here's how Denny tells the story.

“We have commercial drop-ins during each game that you slip in between pitches or batters, or whenever possible. Ed Shepard, our producer-engineer, handed me the card that said “Guy’s Food drop-in". Everybody in Kansas City knew about Guy’s Foods. The card was in front of me, I was thinking about how they were a good sponsor, so I wanted to really pump them up. I started thinking about the holiday weekend, everybody out picnicking, boating, whatever. So I said, “For those of you planning a holiday picnic, we sure hope you take along plenty of those good Guy’s potato chips.” Fitzy was wasting time on the mound. I obviously had more time to fill, so I thought I would give Guy’s another plug. And the next line out of my mouth was “And when you’re in the store, be sure to grab Guy’s nuts.” I thought my career was over right then and there. I looked over at Buddy Blattner, and he looked like somebody had shot him.”

Chiefs place WR Demarcus Robinson and C Daniel Kilgore on reserve/COVID-19 list

Two Chiefs placed on reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of Super Bowl LV

The Chiefs are currently without a couple of contributors, but they both could return in time for Super Bowl LV.
Kansas City placed wide receiver Demarcus Robinson and center Daniel Kilgore on the reserve/COVID-19 list, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday. Neither player is a positive case, however, and if they continue to test negative they should be available to play versus the Buccaneers this Sunday, Rapoport added.
Chiefs coach Andy Reid confirmed his two players' inclusion on the list and said they found out this past Sunday they'd been deemed close contacts.
"They'll work through it," Reid said.
Neither player has done much in the postseason, but made their respective marks on the team's second straight Super Bowl run nonetheless. Robinson, who's started a number of games in place of an injured Sammy Watkins, finished the regular season as the Chiefs' third-leading receiver with 45 catches for 466 yards and three touchdowns. He had five receptions against Tamp Bay in Week 12.
Kilgore has made four starts and is considered a key reserve given the team's diminishing depth on the offensive line.

False.

Yep. Postponing SB a week should there be starters with Covid should be in the cards, if necessary. It isn't like they physically can't play like an injury or any other illness. Its a different breed of thing. Postponing SB is Brady, Mahomes, Reek, Kelce, Evans etc should definitely be done in order to maintain the integrity of the game.

I hope it doesn't come to that obviously.

NFL uses its discretion. Having star athletes out for the SB is bad for the game. This is an entertainment product.

So apparently they got it from a barber.

https://www.nfl.com/news/two-chiefs-players-clipped-by-barber-s-positive-covid-19-test.
Sources say the barber tested negative five consecutive days before he was allowed to enter the Chiefs' facility -- including a Saturday PCR test that came back negative Sunday. The barber took an additional rapid test as a precaution before entering the facility Sunday, but the results were delayed briefly because of a line of friends and family also getting tested. He was wearing double PPE and was still cutting Kilgore's hair -- the first in a line of players waiting for haircuts -- when the positive result came back. The barber was immediately removed; in a follow-up interview with NFL officials, the barber said he'd also cut Robinson's hair the previous day away from the facility.

It sounds like the team had a plan in place to test the barber for a week and bring him in the facility so that the players didn't have to risk exposure on their own. Robinson went outside of that plan and met the guy on his own.

What's everyone's stance on meatloaf sandwiches? I personally love a good meatloaf, just not sure how it would be in sandwich form?

Hell, I like making sandwiches from meatloaf more than eating the meatloaf by itself. My wife hates meatloaf (one of her few amazing flaws) so if I make a meatloaf, it's for myself and basically I just make em for sandwiches. Meatloaf, mayo and bread baby.

Shit, it's been awhile and I'm hungry for one right now!

If the barber tested negative with a bunch of tests, including a PCR, and then had the quick test be the positive, I'm not too concerned. The quick test isn't super reliable. My wife works for a school and they won't accept a quick test when allowing teachers to come back to work after exposure. It has to be a negative from a PCR test.

Sucks for Kilgore, though, as it sounds like he got half of a haircut. LMAO
