Brady likely dropped a typical obscenity (b****, mothertrucker, you name it) and Tyrann realized the racial implication after the tweet and quickly deleted it. This really isn’t a story.

Must be nice to play a horrific game in the NFC Championship, have your defense carry you to the title game, and then get gifted two touchdowns in the first half on phantom calls while watching your defense again shut down the best player alive. It was all Brady though.

Bullshit.

Chiefs DBs just didn't get away with all their usual holding.

Even with that, if your OL had been healthy, you still likely win. Refs allowed your OL to hold a ton, only calling a couple really bad ones, and they still couldn't stop the Bucs DL.

At the end of the day, I don't care what Brady said to #32.

Watching the game, and how #32 lost his composure on the sidelines after he was called for a bum flag, at the end of the day, you HAVE to keep your composure on the field and control your play as a paid professional.

Give Brady credit for the experience. He could of said something on the field to piss #32, and Brady accomplished exactly what he was looking for.

You said it yourself, KC's best player (Mahome's) sucked. That said, his receievers dropped passes that "could" of been caught. You have to make those great plays to win the gam if you don't have a better team on the field that day. KC didn't make those plays.

This is an unfortunate situation you can run across when you build a team of those high energy, attitude type guys like Mathieu and Chris Jones. All it takes is the opponent to say one small thing in the heat of the moment or give our guy a tiny little shove after the play is over and you can bait them into drawing a 15 yard penalty.

When Travis Kelce is one of your more mature, rational players, you've probably got some loose cannons on the squad lol

What I'm reading is you're giving an excuse for a player thate can't think with his head and they will get the penalty for being reactionary.

Players need to be smart and keep their composure. This is the coaches responsibility. If a player can't play smart, and is baited easily, he needs to be off the team.

If we can figure this out on an internet forum, what do you think opposing teams are doing looking at film?

Rain Man
02-08-2021, 12:08 PM
I still don't know exactly what happened. Matthieu said something to the cheater, I get that. But then I saw one clip where the cheater then chased Matthieu down for 40 yards as Matthieu was leaving the field and was yelling at them. And then Matthieu got flagged. Were both of those the same incident, or did I misremember and they were different plays?

I'm asking because of the old adage that the second player gets caught. When that cheapshot greasy thuggish so-ugly-that-he-should-keep-wearing-a-mask-after-covid center of Tampa slugged Chris Jones after a play, Jones got penalized for slugging him back. So when Matthieu spoke harsh words to brady and then brady chased him down for forty yards to scream at him like an old Romanian woman, why didn't brady draw the penalty?

Then you’ve got some reading comprehension issues to sort through.

At no point did I say it was OK. I actually agree that the players need to act like they have more than two brain cells to rub together.

UNFORTUNATELY, this is the issue you can run into with players who have excess attitude. It’s great when you’re up and winning and everything is going right. It also helps sometimes when you’ve got some dogs who can rally when you’re down.. but every once in a while, they’ll lose focus and lash out in a bad way.

For Chris Jones, it seems like it’s basically at least once every game. Mathieu is generally pretty good but he picked a horrendous time to meltdown.

Yeah it's something you have to deal with from time to time with players who have attitudes like Chris Jones and Honey Badger. I still think it's good to have those types of players on defense because you don't want the defense to get too soft but you don't want too many of them. I remember Marty had too many players on our defense at the end of his time here and it was a disaster we'd get way too many penalties and fall apart when the team started losing.

Bucs were definitely were to get under Honey Badger and Chris Jones skin and it worked.

The reaction to Mahomes play has actually been overwhelmingly positive from 99% of the online places I frequent.

Winfield's Peace Sign to Hill has also had the same reaction. Hill was already hated by most opposing fans, those backflips put him at a even higher level of notoreity than he already was.

I don't think so. This team has fun together. They're fun to watch and the fans love it. This isn't Ochocinco territory where it's costing the team anything. It's not like early kelce where he made mistakes trying to showboat. That doesn't bother me at all. Also, I personally like that we have swagger. Guys like Houston, Hali, berry were great but the defense always lacked that fire.

What Reid has got to figure out is how to keep these guys fired up without losing their cool. It's one thing to talk shit. But don't let other teams bait you into making dumb mistakes. Two games in a row we had OL specifically targeting Chris jones and twice he lost his cool. Okafor too.

Brady obviously knew Jones and Honey Badger have tempers. He may have decided to find something personal he could use for trash talk. He then probably went overboard when he lost his cool. Then texts after game apologizing and makes it public to save face. But I have no doubt he knew exactly what he was doing just went overboard. This type of shit Patriots do.

He gets to Tampa and is given all this WR talent, and who does he instantly gravitate towards for the first few weeks? ****ing Scotty Miller, the most no-talented douchebag of the entire group.

Brady's first 2 receivers that he used often were Troy Brown and Deion Branch, both happened to be black. Brown retired with the Patriots and his best season was with Brady. Brady was not pleased at all when the Patriots let Branch go for financial reasons. Branch got paid a lot since he had a great Super Bowl with Brady throwing him the ball. Brady was clearly disappointed when Patriots didn't pay Branch his asking price.

But if you want to accuse Bill Bellichick of racism, realize he has let go of his fair share of white players when he felt other teams were willing to offer them too much money. Heck BB tried to trade Gronk to Detroit. And ultimately BB even got rid of Brady in part due to financial reasons.

Brady happily went to the Bucs with just 1 white receiver already on team and a black offensive coordinator.

And yes Brady wanted Gronk on the team but he also wanted Antonio Brown. Even Gronk went into the year as #2 tight end option behind OJ Howard who happens to be black. Howard just torn his achilles but Brady had already thrown him 2 touchdowns.

Brady's favorite receiver, he has often said is the open receiver.

Scottie Miller may never be that good but he tends to not drop passes and already justified the Bucs drafting him with several big catches this year including vs Green Bay in playoffs.

Brady also was very pleased Patriots and Bucs got Antonio Brown. Brown reportedly lived/lives in Brady's house.

The reason Brady went to Gronk in the Super Bowl is kind of well known Chiefs don't defend tight ends and Gronk that well. If Chiefs couldn't defend Godwin but could defend Gronk, he would have gone to someone like Godwin much more.

Brady also doesn't mind throwing to pass catching running backs and the majority have been black.

It's pretty ****ing clear that he strongly prefers throwing to the white guys. He's done it his entire career.

Oh, you wanna pull Randy Moss out your ass? Imagine that! Perhaps the most talented WR the NFL has ever seen, and Brady likes throwing to him. Took you long enough, ****face racist.

He gets to Tampa and is given all this WR talent, and who does he instantly gravitate towards for the first few weeks? ****ing Scotty Miller, the most no-talented douchebag of the entire group.was Deion Branch white? Asking for a friend.

On the press conference for HB he mentioned that he'd never seen that out of Tom Brady, then quickly said "I don't know, no comment".

Getting into your opponents head is a tried and true method of success. Everyone does it and should. We do. Badger does. Jones does.

Yup. Honey Badger in fine with. But Chris jones has to figure out how to be cocky without having a temper. Okafor too. Back to back games where these guys were baited into a penalty and took it (the refs missed one... Even if it was reacting to a dirty play)
