Gonna make it tricky to fly in for a Monday Night Game especially if it's NOT a Monday night game

Dammit! I knew those Monday games were fixed! Have been for years! Just like the Super Bowl! At least now they're admitting it!

That really shows how TV has become far more important than fans in the stands.

Flexed? Yeah. That actually makes more sense. My bad.

Didn't they say they didn't even need fans in the stands anymore?

This year’s last minute schedule changes showed that teams can adjust okay and obviously the future MNF flexes will be under much better circumstances with more advanced notice, no virus issues, etc.

I don't know but I wouldn't be surprised. They aren't going to turn down the money of course. But if it comes between getting good games on TV and putting out a few thousand fans, they're going to make the TV stations happy.

Being a east coast NFL fan, prime time games suck. I like my chiefs games at 1pm on Sunday ending at 3:30-4pm. Not ending at midnight and making my Monday or Tuesday at work totally F’d because I got 4 hours of sleep. Who the hell can go straight to bed when a game ends at midnight and you are pissed off or jacked up.

Further more having the Super Bowl on a Sunday night is terrible. Put that on Saturday night and give everyone a day to recover from the emotional rollercoaster if you are lucky enough to have your team playing.

I wish all games were played on Sunday.

Most of those MNF games are stinkers. Paying a BILLION $'s and getting shit games wasnt going to continue.

I would like to expand on my last comment. Why not do the college football championship Friday night and the Super Bowl Saturday night. The best weekend of football ever. Then put the pro bowl on Sunday at noon. Sponsors will love it. Commercial sales will be thru the roof. And don’t say that’s to much football. What is every sports fan watching all damn weekend for the next few weekends right now.
