I've been wondering about these two. For reasonable deals I'd love to have them back.

Meh.

? Both have been damn good and important to our runs. Breeland gets called for a lot of bs penalties

They get closer to hitting that wall each year. Breeland gets grabby, but probably still has some gas in the tank. Sorenson needs to be a role player/teams player. Neither are ascending players.

You enjoy watching him getting burned by TEs? I guess we all have our weird fetishes.

Sorenson has closed out or saved I don’t know how many games for us. We don’t make it past the browns probably without him causing that fumble

I’m down to bring them both back.

Especially dirty Dan. Love dirty Dan. He’s an awesome role player. He’s a great blitzer, hits like truck and makes the big plays when needed. He is the definition of clutch.

I promised myself after that Texans playoff game I wouldn't say bad things about Dan anymore. I want him back.

Honestly there isn't a lot you can do to stop an elite TE. Kelce eats up everybody. IDK anyone who can cover George Kittle in space either. Darren Waller is another one. Gronk is virtually unrecoverable in the 4th quarter. Patsies have picked up on it as well. We may be in trouble.

All you can do is put a lot of heat on the QB. Another edge rusher to go along with Jones and Clark would go a long way. Someone with an elite first step. A Derek Thomas is too much to ask for. Maybe we can find a Leonard Little somewhere in the third round.

With a hopefully much improved OL, opposing offenses won't get as many chances. That looms large as well.

I'm split on the Dirty Dan thing.

Personally I think he's subpar about 60-70% of the time, but he's surely made some plays when it's counted. Kind of like a defense allowing an offense to go 99 yds but then gets a huge TO when they're about to score on the 1.

That's how I view DD.

For the right price I am okay with bringing both back. Don't overpay them because you get warm fuzzies about past performances.

Steve Spagnuolo, Dave Merritt, and Sam Madison have done a much better job with Dan Sorensen than former DC Bob Sutton and his staff. Dan is not fast but if you put him into the correct position, he is a decent football player. I hope the Chiefs can come up with a team friendly contract and bring Dan back.

Bashaud Breeland will openly tell you he is a physical CB and will try and disrupt routes by grabbing and pushing the WR. It paid off against the 49ers but not against Tampa Bay. I would like him back at a reasonable cost and hope we never again see the same group of umpires and referees as we did in the last Super Bowl.

Not part of this thread, but also want Austin Reiter back.

I'd like to have Sorenson back for about 3-4M. Sure enough he has some flaws, but he just seems to be in the right place at the right time when we need it. Breeland isn't anything special, but is depth at CB. I don't see anyone knocking on his door real hard, so I'm guessing a $3.5-4M contract.

Eric Berry before his spirit left him.

Love it. I think people have high expectations for a team loaded with offensive cap. Sorensen is a third safety. Breeland is an incredible value for what we'd pay him. Sorensen might take less because he loves kc. Breelands lack of interest in free agency continues to puzzle me.

Would love to have both back.

Dirty Dan already belongs in Chiefs Ring of Honor we need him.

I'll take Breeland too a good offseason with OTAs would do him good. Last season I think hurt player development without having OTAs and a normal offseason because of Rona . I think several players can benefit from OTAs that they didn't get last year. So I'd like give Breeland opportunity with a regular offseason agenda.

Breelands lack of interest in free agency continues to puzzle me.

He's getting older for one thing. I love his physicality but he does see his share of flags. Chiefs secondary has a weird reputation for getting away with holding. Breeland is in the thick of that conversation. But he's a solid player.

We simply don't have many guys other teams want on D.

Sorenson has deficiencies but is one hell of a heady player. Wouldn't be hard to upgrade, though. Breeland is really under appreciated, IMO. Dude seems to always be making plays in clutch moments, both against the pass and the run.
