I just thought it'd be fun to look back on.

Right now, pick your SB teams. First wave of free agency is winding down, the draft a month away. Who you got?

Here's mine:

KC over LA Rams.

Everybody's gloom and doom on KC right now, so call your shot.

KC over Green Bay.

I think Veach does enough in free agency and the draft to fix the O-Line and the defense takes another small step forward with Gay becoming a starting LB, Thornhill two years removed from his knee surgery, and a better starting DE than Tanoh (I am assuming either Ingram, Houston, or Clowney is signed in free agency.)

I just have a hunch about Green Bay. On paper Tampa and the Rams are probably better teams, but I just feel Rodgers has a few more stellar seasons in him.

KC over Tampa and the torch FINALLY gets passed. Bucs have the easiest route in their conference IMO. Plus we know Brady will get the calls, and probably break some kind of record for PI again. Don’t really see GB, or Rams being able to win when it comes to the playoffs.

Isn’t the SB in LA this year? I don’t want to have that disadvantage again if at all possible.

If Tom Brady is playing he will be in the SB. So you can bet the Bucs WILL be there. The league will make sure of it and Tom's devil magic luck will continue until he dies so spoiler alert there. In fact I may contemplate putting down a substantial sum of money on that.

AFC - I am not super down on the Chiefs but they have to make some moves in the next few weeks and the draft. Complete overhaul of the O-Line isn not complete with the big ? at Left Tackle. They get that figured out and get another WR who can get open then they can absolutely can get back. Sadly if TB is there don't count on the Chiefs winning.

Yeah after this last postseason it’s hard to see anyone in the NFC beating the Bucs and the Zebras. Now if there’s no assist from the refs I’ll vote KC and LA but they’ll give Tommy the calls.

Fitzpatrick in Washington knocking Brady out of the playoffs would be fucking amazing.

Chiefs and Green Bay

I guess you could make an argument for TB or LA, but beyond them, I really don't see anyone else there "yet". Post FA/Draft/2nd FA, some things may change, but right now, it's the Chiefs vs. GB/LA/TB realistically

Just keep the Bucs as far away from the Super Bowl as possible.

I want no part of another Tom Brady ref show.

Barring any big setbacks I think we should get back to the big game.

I could definitely see it being a rematch, but also wouldn't surprise me to see Green Bay. Part of me also kind of expects a team like the 49ers to make a run

OP nailed my pick

On paper at least, Stafford puts that team over the top... they should eat the NFC alive

Then of course, why wouldn't I pick KC again?

Gonna be KC vs Tampa again with KC winning a 3 point game and Brady retiring after the game.

This years script is easy to figure out.

I like the Chiefs chances against ANYBODY besides the Bucs. Too much bullshit at play with Brady.

Mathieu's interception being overturned by a phantom holding call was the moment I knew we had no chance to win that game.

Why anybody would want Bucs/Chiefs again after we JUST SAW the schadenfreude that took place in February is beyond me....

I don't think the question is who do you want but more so who do you think? There is a difference. I think that the Chiefs will beat the Buccaneers it just so happens also what I want. Patrick is just too damn good and with his experience he will be all that much better yet he will have to learn how to beat the refs and the team he plays in the Super Bowl if its' the Bucs .

The big key to victory is having a healthy enough offensive line to give Mahomes time to do his magic.

I think the 49ers have a good chance but would have to say the Bucs start as favourites in the NFC.

In the AFC, the chances of getting to 3 superbowls in a row in slim.

Other than us I would say, Colts, Bills or Patriots.

My dark horse from the NFC would be the Cardinals. They have made a few short term signings in FA and that make me think this is an all in year for them for whatever reason.

Until it doesn't happen, the Chiefs should be the favorites out of the AFC for many more years.

Tom Brady becomes the first QB in history to beat his old team in the SB.
