When I lived in San Diego there a morning show on KGB called the Dave, Shelly and Chainsaw show, Or DSC for short. They announced on air that the Space Shuttle was going to land at Mirarmar Naval Air Station. The base sits between some very busy freeways. Anyway it caused a massive back up of looky lous and became quite the mess. It was a pretty good April Fools that got a lot of people!

IIRC the Radio Station got hammered by the FCC over it.
