The location of the pitch is clearly a ball.

Home plate ump's strike zone is wildly inconsistent.

What the bloody hell happened to Soler? I thought he was seeing the ball well in Spring Training, we start the official season and he’s struck out 16 times in his first 26 at bats. That’s hard to do for even an overmatched career minor leaguer.

Maybe it’s a good thing the Royals didn’t seek out that long term deal this off-season. He looks like total ass and lost at the plate right now. Hope he snaps out of it at some point.
