I love Salvy, but he is not great at receiving the ball. He will take a borderline pitch and then move his glove two feet into the middle of the plate to 'frame the pitch" and never gets the call.

The catchers that get the best grades on framing borderline pitches only move the glove a few inches to the edge of the strike zone to get the calls.

Zero idea how he managed to do it, but it meant that his movements were less exaggerated after catching the ball (compared to Salvy).
