I don't think it's that Snyder has a lot of power. I think it's the rest of the owners not wanting to set a precedent of an owner being forced to sell the team for these types of accusations, whether proven or not. These guys are billionaires, used to getting and doing whatever they want. They don't like being told what to do, and forcing Snyder out means that in the future it could be them on the chopping block. They are circling the wagons not to protect Snyder, but to protect themselves.
