Would you go to a big event indoors, maskless?

For my family, moving from The People's Republic of California to Texas made a huge difference in getting our life back. MOF you wouldn't even know there is Covid here unless you are flying, logging on to CP or turning on one of the endless fear porn networks. Our summer has consisted of taking my son to wrestling with 40+ kids not including instructors or parents 3x a week for 2 hours. Open mat jiu-jitsu for top competitors 50+ kids not including parents or instructors 4x a week all sparring 5 minutes on, 2 off for 90 minutes. He takes 4 other classes and we go to the gym daily. Took him to WWE money in the bank and Raw this weekend, great seats and prices. Never have seen a mask in training or working out. WWE was 95% maskless. We were going to a big tournament in Florida today and hitting Disney world but I had something come up. It's still a great time to travel but not as much as earlier. The reason I am saying all this is you should know there are places you can go and get your life back. Not a single case of Covid in all of this that we are aware of. At the event this weekend I couldn't help wonder what CP members response would be to going to a big event you always wanted to attend indoors and maskless. Prices should be pretty pretty awesome for a lot events this next year. I am going to go to as many as possible.

Nope, not a chance. We're vaccinated, but all of our grandkids aren't old enough. I'm not going to get into my personal views about those that aren't vaccinated, but until all of my family are protected, I'll do my part in not spreading the plague.

I’m sure there will be people wearing them forever, but I think we have enough knowledge at this point to not need them. I wear mine when I’m required to in the hospitals and in airports, but most places across the country are following the CDC recommendation that it’s not required when vaccinated. I haven’t been to many big indoor events, but I wouldn’t shy away from it. Even the airports are becoming more lenient. I’ve seen plenty of people walking around massless in the airports themselves. Definitely not on the planes though. I can’t wait for the day I can fly on a plane without a mask again. I think we could have that by this fall hopefully.

Depends on what you like I suppose. I have a lot more first hand knowledge of California being there for 35 years. Each region is very different. For example in SF you could probably get a different girl almost every night of the week if you really wanted to and worked it and there is a lot of ethnic variety. Bay area on the other hand is a complete sausagefest. They don't call in ManJose for nothing. You like blondes who are really sweet and outgoing there are a lot of those at least where I live in Texas. I am married though and not looking to F that up. I personally am more attracted to the women out here and being single would be a lot of fun. You got some real wacko's in SF. Post Covid a lot of women are leaving SF, it's just not a safe place to live anymore especially if you are white or asian.

I didn't like really crowded indoor spaces to begin with, so I'd rather avoid it in general. My girlfriend and I are both fully vaccinated but we still wear masks when we go out but we are damn near the only ones that do. I guess in the end it just really depends on what the indoor event is. Went to NYC. Stayed all day inside a crowded MET. Spent an evening packed inside an airless basement at the comedy cellar listening to comedians. I’m vaccinated. It’s not 100%. I never got the flu shot and haven’t been sick in 3-4 years. I’m still way too fat. But, I’ve decreased my risk to go back to my normal life.

She is in the seed round for developing safer and more effective vaccines without all the toxins and I trust her completely. Covid ran through our house February of 2020 before we even knew what it was. After hearing a lot about variants and immunity not holding I reached out to her about whether we should get the vaccine. She took the vaccine herself because many of her clients were older and she wanted to help them. This was her response:

Unfortunately it’s quite a bit more complicated than that. The good immunity tests for T cell and B cell immunity are not available to the public (too much useful information). The current antibody tests will generally only show the more immediate immune reaction, lasting from a few weeks to several months for some. Longer term immunity evidence requires those other tests.

Claiming science as your own when 1,322 families have been awarded over 2 billion dollars for brain damage due to vaccines and that only represents a tiny fraction of the lawsuits filed is lame. Monthly my entire family is checked to make sure every vitamin and mineral in our system is as close to perfect as possible and there are no allergies effecting us. We caught the flu this year but didn't even know it until we got our readout. IT was the sore throat, stuffy head day. Big wow.
