This is clearly a cheap deal and a chance for him to have a full offseason.

He didn’t stop them from going after Beckham, and he’s not going to stop them from adding talent to the WR room.

It’s a bit surprising, but not anything to bitch about.

Once he learns the system he's going to be great for us.Not sure if this is sincere or not, but it's pretty much a universal truth that it takes WRs a year or two to figure out Andy's system. I don't expect him to turn into a legit #2 or anything, but hopefully he can be a true contributor at least.

He has the "knowledge of the system" aura now.

It's a powerful aura that has provided the likes of DRob a roster spot for years now.

How many years are we into hardman….

This is Hardman fourth year on his rookie deal. Really a make it or break it season for him. I think he is going be very productive and make big plays. He made big plays in the playoffs and has made clutch plays for us that helped us advance in the playoffs each year. He may not be suited for the #2 spot but I think he is going push whoever they bring in to earn that spot. No the experiment is not over with Hardman because he still brings a deep threat and a home run any at any moment in a game. Has he screwed up well yeah but so has Tyreek and Kelce. He needs more opportunity and balls thrown his way.

Simply Red
03-08-2022, 11:21 PM
I do think it's cool KC is giving him another season (potentially) - it's only fair to Josh, he seems to fit in inside the locker room. I think the guys pull for Gordon.

Wait, where's the blind optimism for Gordon?

Mecole Hardman can shit his pants on the regular, and be legit dumber than a bag of hammers but "Can still win WR2" but a former all pro has no shot to make the team with time to learn the offense?

I'm intrigued by your evaluation process.

We’ll see how he does after having more time to learn the system and an off season/training camp to get into football shape. It’s not like we gave him a big deal and he’s a lock to make the final roster.

Agreed and this is why I wouldn’t invest substantially in a FA WR. Spend the money on dline. Hopefully Gordon is better this year and Hardman also in a contract year.

CEDAR FALLS, Ia. — Daurice Fountain has been making NFL Draft noise for a few months now. That chatter should only increase after Sunday's strong Pro Day showing.

With 27 NFL teams in attendance, the Northern Iowa wide receiver ripped off a 42.5-inch vertical and a broad jump of 11 feet, 2 inches. Although Fountain didn’t receive an NFL Scouting Combine invite, both results would’ve been the best among wide receivers there. LSU’s D.J. Chark led combine receivers with a 40-inch vertical, and Maryland's D.J. Moore topped the broad jump at 11 feet.

Fountain also had 14 reps on the bench press and ran the 40-yard dash three times. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound wide receiver was told his best time was 4.46 seconds, which would've tied for 10th.

Fountain racked up 943 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns on 66 catches in 2017. He busted onto the scene at the East-West Shrine Game, earning offensive MVP. The current NFL Draft chatter has him as a Day Three pick.

By the end of this season, we'll have traded Josh Gordon to Miami for Tyreek and the Dolphins will take on 50% of his entire contract. This is all part of Veach's master plan as they surpressed Gordon's value last season while deliberately overstimulating Hill.

You obviously win your fantasy football league (assuming you are not playing against locals) by being a KC Homer.

I still ain't drafting Skyy although I do think Juju has a high ceiling. Although I'll be delighted to be proven wrong on Skyy. Good camp news is better than bad camp news. But I'm just not believing that a mid second round WR rookie is going to do much besides a few gadget plays in an Andy offense until every other WR's dead body is dragged off the field.

Its kinda spooky that he's even still here after last years disaster

Could this guy actually make the squad this year after knocking off the rust in 2021?

I kinda doubt it, but Bleymaier seems to see potential

Andys not going to say he sucks.. Just don't see a place for him with a crowded Wr room with all young talent.. Hope I'm wrong but doubt it.. They will cut him in training camp with glowing recommendations..

This is so cringeworthy for a guy who has underperformed expectations.

The video itself is a little cringeworthy, but if his first three major purchases were for his family, that’s commendable.

Maybe this

I've been raving, and I will continue to rave: No new #Chiefs pass-catcher looks more comfortable with Mahomes than WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Seemingly no one believed in him, but I’ve had the feeling since he signed that he was going to be much better than expected. He’s an ascending player who is smart and motivated, with elite speed. He’s going to be good in this offense.

This guy just glides when running routes I think he's going to be very good in Andy's system.

No problem if he does it. Not remotely begrudging what he spent his money on. But you don't need to go on MTV Cribs this off season when you're supposed to be stepping up as the veteran in this offense and broadcasting this nonsense.

I'd have less of a problem with it if this were filmed either of the last two off seasons.

Yea, he’s gonna have to beat out a much deeper WR room. If he does, then I’ll trust Veach/Andy. He’s not making much, and he’s big. If he can block and stay healthy, I’m sure Andy can find a spot for him. BUT.... won’t be easy. Hardman, MVS, Juju, Skyy, Ross.... Omar Bayliss LMAO

Patrick is gonna win MVP, and SBMVP

Patrick Mahomes is going to be the first QB in NFL history to have 6 1,100 yard recievers in a single season.

The interesting thing will be if he can beat another of Marinos records. He needs what? 47 touchdowns this year?
