Props to him. 7th round rookie starting because the 1st round CB McDuffie was injured. He stepped up and had a good game besides the interception. Our secondary is so improved. Veach is the man.

He had an okay game. I don't know if I would call it good. Mike Williams got him on a few of those. Then again, he gets a lot of DBs because he's so big.

Wow, big congrats to Jaylen Watson! Dude was recently flipping burgers and now AFC DPOTW. Great job stepping in for an injured McDuffie, and HUGE impact play that sealed the victory for KC. Respect.

I bet he's walking on air right now (and he should be), but he better become grounded pretty quick.

Congrats young man. :thumb:

Who is the best 7th round ever?

Shannon Sharpe was a 7th round pick. I think the rounds might have had fewer picks back then though.

There were fewer teams then but there were 12 rounds and more players drafted (332 players drafted in 1990, 262 players drafted in 2022)

I'll settle for no picks if TB's leg develops another joint.

You must have Watson confused with Sneed and Fenton.

Who is the best 7th round ever?

I'll nominate Dave Szott if we're talking about the Chiefs.

Who is the best 7th round ever?

Harrison Butker.

Legitimately maybe Shannon Sharpe or Marquez Colston.

It appears that Kevin Ross was also a 7th round pick, so it's a tossup between Ross and Szott as the best 7th-round pick ever.

Bobby Bell and Fred Arbanas were also 7th-round picks, but the drafts were weird in those AFL-NFL battles so I won't count them. High-level prospects would go late just because of the odds of signing them.
