We play the Lions in roughly 6 weeks. Even if the injury is less serious than feared, I wouldn’t think he’d be ready to play week 1.

It is already going south for the trendy pick.

Jeez I just feel like every team is playing Russian roulette this time of year. Please let us get through this shit intact. :grovel:

It was probably the turf’s fault.

Did someone from the Chargers training staff get hired in Detroit?

Sounds like there’s a possibility that it wasn’t serious.

Initial reports said it was a non-contact knee injury he was carted off the field for while consoled by trainers so my apologies.

So, he was "carted off," but now they're saying he's "fine?" That sounds like Jeff George level of pussy.

Maybe it's a Garrett Bolles situation and he has a bruise.

I'm sure the team had nothing to do with it, reducing the risk of it getting worse

I thought during training camp players were often carted off since they have to go further than just to the stadium locker room.

You're probably right. He sure didn't look like a pussy in the Super Bowl. It just struck me as really odd.

Lmao, this is a true story. My junior year of high school we were just starting football practice for that year and they were pretty intense trying to get guys back in shape. Well one of the seniors who had never played before was like "hey coach, can I go take a dump!"

Dude went into the locker room and we didn't see him back on the practice field again. He showed up at school, so it's not like he died. He just couldn't handle the conditioning.

Why you sticking up for the pussy?

That kid's name? Albert Haynesworth.
