Eagles bassist and falsetto voice on many recordings including Take It to the Limit. Also many great basslines on the Hotel California album including the tittle track.

RIP

Dude could definitely reach for the high notes for sure. He and Brad Delp(Boston) were the best in the high range for sure.

Last I saw of the Eagles they were getting their ass beat in the Super Bowl by the Kansas City Chiefs

Go to the studio version of that song and you will hear at the very end of that song just how high that man can go with his falsetto. Amazing!!:thumb:

I wouldn't call a 3-point win because of dumb ass causing a roughing penalty that led to a chip shot FG with seconds left an ass beating.

Fuck you, big time and it still wasn't a beatdown white knight. Are you not the dipshit banned monthly for harassment and being a red ass?

Ironically, this song was the basis for the conflict that led to Meisner leaving the band. The long notes at the end are a real bitch, and he got tired of being stressed out about it doing the song live on tour. Of course it was one of their most popular songs, audiences wanted to hear it live, and Henley and Frey kept pushing him to do it.

The long notes at the end are a real bitch, and he got tired of being stressed out about it doing the song live on tour. Of course it was one of their most popular songs, audiences wanted to hear it live, and Henley and Frey kept pushing him to do it.I thought Glenn Frey was going to kill him the night he refused to sing it. It was one of their biggest hits, and he wouldn't sing it because I think he said his voice was strained, and I am pretty sure they had to physically restrain Frey.
