Yeah, never seen that much time before. But I don't watch a ton of soccer. Was there an injury that took a lot of time?

Yes and yes. St Louis was the top seed in the Western conference, and Sporting KC, who barely made it in on the last day, were the lowest seed and had to win a play-in game to even play in the series. We thoroughly dominated STL over the two game (best-of-three) series.

Fun game. This Sporting team has some grit. Just wonder how long they can keep it up….basically the last 7ish matches have been de facto playoff games.

They have been the best team in the Western Conference since May 1st. They had a couple key players out with injuries who didn't come back to play until then.

I keep an eye on SKC from a 30,000 foot level, occasionally watching their games when available, but I wholeheartedly support eliminating St. Louis.
