We have a couple of early-season wins over the preseason champions here. Which do you remember more fondly?

2018 - Week 1 - W 38-28 over LAC

Chiefs 0-0 / Chargers 0-0

It's not The Debut, but it's the Starter Debut. We had the Tyreek show as he produced three touchdowns and 268 all-purpose yards to take the pressure off of a new starting quarterback. This game also saw the famous "Sausage Bomb", indicating that the new quarterback was pretty good.

2022 - Week 2 - W 27-24 over LAC

Chiefs 1-0 / Chargers 1-0

Queue up the Jaylen Watson highlight reel. In the fourth quarter, it looked like the Chargers were going to pull ahead, but Watson scored on a 99-yard interception return to fundamentally change the game. Now Queue up the Justin Watson highlight reel so we can see the perfect pass that he caught for a 41-yard touchdown, and it's worth watching the sidearm touchdown pass to McKinnon as well. It was a low-octane day for the offense with only 235 yards passing and 93 rushing, but that was enough. On defense, Chris Jones had 2 sacks and the Gay/Bolton duo combined for 21 tackles. Oh, and Matt Ammendola was perfect kicking for us while Butker nursed his Arizona ankle. If that's not enough, the game features what may be CEH's longest career run.

The Jaylen Watson touchdown is definitely an all-time highlight, and that was a great win as we asserted our dominance over the pretenders to the crown.

But Week 1 of 2018? This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, the Age of Aquarius, Aquaaaaaariuuuuuuuus!

Gotta go with 2018 here.
