Chiefs 7-4 / Raiders 6-5
This game is full of fun plays. Check out the great shot of Jon Gruden at 1:15 of the hightlights, after the Raiders gave up their second turnover in the first half of the first quarter. It's priceless. And at 1:48 of the highlights, watch our favorite run stuffer Mike Pennel relentlessly chase down a screen pass. At 3:20, you'll see Mahomes take a 16-yard drop and then complete a pass to a levitating Travis Kelce. Then at 3:58 Thornhill executes a gorgeous long pick six on the the Raiders QB (Carr). At 5:32 you'll see one of the most graceful Mahomes/Kelce passes ever. We led 24-0 at halftime, and the Raiders didn't get a touchdown until the final minute of the game. The fun part about that is that we were up 38-9, and then blocked the extra point and took it back all the way for a reverse two-point conversion (Kpass with the block and Ward with the return). What a nice ending. Now, here's the weird part. Mahomes threw for only 175 yards and we only had 96 yards rushing. It seems that we were on a short field a lot due to the turnovers. Kelce was our leading yardage guy with 90 yards, and 47 of that came on one play. We were just putting points up automatically.

2022 - Week 7 - W 44-23 over SFO

Chiefs 4-2 / 49ers 3-3
The Chiefs were an offensive juggernaut on this day. Case in point: Mecole Hardman scored three touchdowns, and he was tied for fourth in yards from scrimmage with 60, behind Juju (124), MVS (111), and Kelce (98). Pacheco also had 60. Patrick had a great day with 423 yards passing. Our six touchdowns averaged 17 yards in length. The defense gave up points, but also registered 5 sacks (2 by Chris Jones that included a strip, and a safety by Frank Clark), and 2 interceptions. Joshua Williams made a great red zone interception to stop a very short drive after a fumbled punt return. Per tradition, we spotted the 49ers a 10 point lead before blowing the doors off of them with 30 second-half points. Unfortunately, the highlights don't show the signature play of this game, where the Chiefs flipped their feet in unison on a field goal attempt to cause a false start.
