Chiefs 2-1 / Buccaneers 2-1

How many NFL games have seen touchdowns scored by three tight ends on one team? We did that here with touchdown pasess to Kelce and Fortson, and a touchdown run by Gray in the Graydozer formation. The Chiefs went 12 of 17 on third down and posted 189 rushing yards as CEH and Pacheco ran strong. You really should watch at least the first half of the highlights - Mahomes and the offense were firing on all cylinders. Plus, you get to see the Mahomes twirl on the sideline where he shakes the defender and flips a touchdown to CEH. It's a thing of beauty and one of the NFL's best plays last season. You also get to see a strip sack of that brady guy by L'Jarius Sneed, which is fun in every way. This game was not as close as the score.

Chiefs 2-0 / Ravens 2-0

We still had some narrative at this point that Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson were dueling. Well, Patrick ended up 385 yards passing, 4 TDs, and 0 interceptions while the other guy ended up with 97 yards passing (70 net) and 1 TD. Patrick avoided getting sacked while the other guy went down 4 times from Chris Jones (2, both strip sacks), Ben Niemann, and Frank Clark. Five different offensive players had more than 60 yards receiving, led by Travis Kelce with 87. Clyde had 134 total yards and Tyreek added 99 with a great leaping touchdown in the 2nd. We led 27-10 at halftime, and coasted to the win. Hey, and one of the touchdown passes was to Eric Fisher. I didn't remember that. This is a Peak Mahomes game that should be shown at quarterback colleges across the country because he was torching every phase of the game, and in fact, the entire offense had a great game.

These are two near-perfect games. The Ravens game was peak Mahomes for the entire game, but the Tampa game featured an all-time Mahomes play.

It's a tough one, but I have to go with the all-time play given how fun it was to see. Tampa for me.

That Tampa Bay win might be my favorite regular season win... or maybe it's behind Mahomes 4th and 9 play against the Ravens.
