I'm not sure the gun rotates that way, but you're welcome to try.

I was reading a real WWII account a while back, and one of the crew members said that they were in their huts when shooting started and bullets came through the walls. They hit the decks and were okay. It turned out that the ground crew accidentally shot off several rounds while they were prepping the plane, and blew off the leg of one ground crew guy and shot another one several times in the chest. Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time...

The sixth flak hit is a bummer. Flak enters the bomb bay and strikes a bomb. The bomb explodes, which sets off the other bombs in a massive explosion. What’s left of Diana Might breaks apart at the waist and tumbles to earth.

But I'm going to bring this up again. Up untill recently it was considered bad luck to have females serving on planes and ships in the military. Coinkeydink... maybe...maybe not. :D

The plane now has no one manning 4 of it’s 12 guns due to injury. Word is the pilot has a lot of experience handling great big long sheet-metal tubes filled with screaming passengers though all types of obstacle courses. Veteran crews are better in the normal game. After 10 missions the officers get better at their tasks, and after 5 kills the gunners get better at shooting. However, since I'm randomizing the missions and they've already been calculated, there won't be that direct impact. Instead, everyone will get better on average since some of the runs have ace gunners and some of the runs have experienced flight crews, but there might be some bad days mixed in with the good.

I was just curious about the game itself. Seems pretty cool....

All I know is the more missions we do the more cupid seems to be sending arrows into the cockpit of our plane. Shoot, everything was looking great on the target scope till about 20 seconds before I went to release the bombs then we heard some giggling through the intercom and then plane banking hard all of a sudden.

I think I might now understand how those guys from Easy company in the foxhole, when the mortar landed with them, but didn't detonate felt.

I think the Pilot may have pooped....just a little.

Wow, we actaully had a little excitement this time. Sheesh, I'm stil 0-fer whatever(5? or 6?). I need to get back to target practice when we get to the base. :banghead: Ah well, we made it back alive. Time for some drinks at the local pub again. :D

94% hit by Papa? Shite...We're like the Terry Tate's of the skies. Another fine job brothers.

Talisman

Talisman fires, misses (other crew members roll their eyes and shake their heads)

The ground crew pops a bottle of champagne for the excellent bombing run, and pretends once again to check out what’s wrong with Talisman’s gun sights.

You better watch your extra commentary, buddy, or I'll start repopulating your plane w/ those unlucky females. nlm

Well, I wasn't going to bring this up, but while I was bringing the plane in I did a quick suture to tk13's shoulder and did CPR on whoman69.
Who gave you combat medical training. I was killed by a head wound and you give me CPR? You gonna give a trachiotomy to someone who has their arm blown off?
No wonder I'm dead.

Word is the pilot has a lot of experience handling great big long sheet-metal tubes filled with screaming passengers though all types of obstacle courses. My guess is that it isn't much different flying a B-23 loaded with bombs through the skies of Europe than it is driving a BlueBird loaded with curtain climbers through the streets of Cody.

Ain't that the truth. Heck driving them around Cody makes a tour of duty in a B-17 a piece of cake. :thumb:
