Tech Guys: MY IE keeps screwing up..

I'm running XP and the version of IE I have keeps screwing up. It always comes up that I should send an error report but that freezes then too.

What can I do to fix this? It's always freezing and it's becoming a big problem for me.

I figure this goes without saying, but you have run both adaware and spybot on your machine already?

What version do you have??? If it's not IE 6, upgrade it.

You could always try Firefox...



FWIW, I had problems with IE when I first got my computer. It seemed to me that IE was the first thing to hang when I had any problem at all. Of course, it could be because I'm on the internet ALL THE DAMN TIME!!! Anyway, believe it or not, I removed my memory, found dust in the DIMM slot, removed aforementioned dust, no other problems. I realize this is probably completely unrelated to your problem, but, seriously, it's a nice story, ain't it???

throw your computer out the window....or stop using IE....your choice....I switched to firefox about a month ago after a nasty virus, best choice I've made in a while...
