There was plenty of contact and holding downfield, both sides of the ball all day in almost every game.

Did the NFL decide that it would be too time consuming?

Exactly.

Tony G got a$$ raped most of the day, no call.

Apparently the only guy out there making illegal contact was Gonzalez.

The officiating was awful, and Denver got screwed on a couple of calls as well, but you know how quick Shanahan is to bitch and moan to the league about calls not going his way. They did what they had to do to keep Mike from picking up the red phone.

I think the chuck rule was implemented to protect defensive backs from Tony Gonzales.

The refs were pathetic last night, not that it caused the Chiefs loss, but damn it would have been nice to see them call their new rules.
