They have done it again with another interesting documentary, this time on the forgotten American War, the misnamed war of 1812. For example did you know the war was responsible for our national anthem? Did you know that it involved the most lopsided victory in American history, possibly in military annals in the battle of New Orleans, which btw took place after the war was concluded. This war was three years long and was often sited as a 2nd war of Independence and served notice that America was an independent nation and could handle battling an outside force. In this war much of our capital was destroyed by an attack that was thwarted only by a freak hurricane and tornado that killed more of the invading army than the attack to take the city. This attack galvanized the country in what was before a largely unpopular war and provided support in the defense of Baltimore and Ft. McHenry. That battle began Sept. 11, 1814.

It was on last night opposite the game.

I wish I'd watched History Channel. :banghead:

They replayed it later after midnight, so I taped it.

Even when they lose, I enjoy watching the Chiefs. How could I have made it thru the mid/late 70s and the 80s if I didn't want to watch them when they lose?

I was too pissed off to think about anything but the game. Hopefully it'll be on again soon (like they won't re-air it 500 times in the next months :D ).

Did anyone see that colorized version of WWI they did a few weeks ago. That was great as well.

Multiple useless accounts another reason that the server is having problems. Turn your rep on, I'll give you some nice red rep.
