Vonnie Holliday bit on that bootleg every time after biting on it every time last year. With his big cap # for next year, he is gone.
The receivers were not ready for the season. With the limited camp they had, Kennison and Morton did not get open at all. They had a really good gameplan for Gonzo as well. I still feel that Smith should have gotten more PT at least until Morton has proved he is ready to go. Morton made some great catches, but he had to because he had zero separation.
The defense is going to take awhile to buy into Gunther's scheme and play it well.
The run defense is still sloppy. On the first big run play we had Woods blitzing from the outside and when Beisel overran the play and got caught behind blockers it was all over. They also beat us to the outside every time.
Wellbourne needs some work on pass protection.
