Regardless of how lost the season is, bitchslapping the Yankmees is always a good thing.

yeah beating the Yankmees is always good. Kinda like the Chiefs playing the Raiduhs just so the Chiefs beat em

It would be really hard with Anaheim taking a nose-dive right now, but it would be hilarious if the Yanks missed the playoffs. I certainly hope Boston overtakes them and forces them into the wild card.

Yeah, I don't really care for the Red Sox either, but with all the money they've spent it'd be hilarious if the Yankees had to go on the road in the first round...

I just hope they don't blow the two touchdown lead. :D

George just pitched out of a bases-loaded jam. Bottom 8th upcoming.

Somehow I think there won't be a bottom of the 9th.....

John Buck is 4-5 with a homer and 5 RBI... Berroa is 4-4 with 5 runs scored. We've really got some guys killing the ball lately. Berroa and Randa especially have been hot... and DeJesus and Buck are hitting much, much better. Either way, the Royals are trying to score more than the Chiefs two times in one week...

Berroa is now 5-5.

There you are.... what was I saying last week about the people in your signature not playing well? :)

Look at Brian Anderson... he pitched well tonight now that you don't have him in your sig. :D

The sad part is that they may not score 17 runs for the rest of season.

But for tonight, this is great.

I've got the Yankmees feed on the MLB package right now. The NY announcers actually still sound positive about the Yanks. They must be freebasing ecstasy. ROFL

According to an article I just saw on Yahoo, the 5th was the single worst inning the Yankees have had in 6 years, when the Red Sox scored 11 in one inning against them in 1998.... like I said, this should get the Royals on Sportscenter for no other reason than ESPN can continue to play up the "Yankees are struggling" storyline.

And one more thing before I let this thread die... Tomorrow Zack Greinke goes to the mound, and he's going to face one pissed off lineup of all-stars. This will no doubt be the toughest challenge he's faced yet.
