This is the weekend's undercard -- the Panthers defensive line versus the Chiefs offensive line. It lacks the glamour of Moss vs. Owens, but this matchup isn't about that.
This one's for the grunts. (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/7680941)

Welbourne is gonna get owned by Peppers. I expect to see Dunn at his side all game long. That could work out well if once in a while Dunn releases on a pass pattern.

And Welbourn is the scrapper, similar to former New York Giants offensive tackle Glenn Parker, a player who used his brain as much as his hands.

Gee. That "former New York Giants'"name sure sounds familiar...

I think Welbourne will do fine against Peppers in the run game -- but yes, he's going to need help in pass protection.

I'm sure that Saunders has a game plan that takes in consideration John "Swinging Gate" Welbourns outstanding play last week.
