They just said that Priest and Kennison did well today at practice and that both are felling good. Maybe a little good news for this implosion site.

Yep, there have been 2 occaisons this year so far that I would have gone for it and DV didn't.

I would have onsided in the playoff game with 4 minutes to go.

What is the deal with all the hamstring problems? It seems like that is most of the problem. Not sure what it might mean but it is a coincidence I have been noticing recently.

Priest has special, genetically-altered ankles. Why do you think he's so good? He has rotator cuffs in his knees too.

I almost made this post a few injuries ago... but, I passed.

Now tk's busted out the Juan Gone joke... you bring this... I take NO responsibility for the rest of this season.
Eh, really, can it get any worse? I mean teams have injuries, and then there's the Royals. Just about every single opening day player spent time hurt or was knocked out for the season, except Beltran, and he was traded. Guiel, Juan Gone, Sweeney, and Santiago all had season ending injuries... so did Graffanino, who became a starter after Desi got hurt on opening day. Randa spent a bunch of time on the DL, Berroa had the death flu, Santiago's backup, Stinnett, suffered a season ending injury right after Santiago got knocked out. Dee Brown got hurt for a couple weeks, as did Matt Stairs and Ken Harvey. That's the position players... then you take into account 3 of the the possible 5 starters, Hernandez, Asencio, and Snyder, were all out for the year before the year ever started... MacDougal came down with the death flu and never recovered, his replacement Affeldt missed a couple months hurt. Leskanic was never the same because he had a hole in his shoulder muscle or some crap like that... Scott Sullivan had a season-ending injury.

Seriously, I'm beyond worrying about tempting karma... things literally could not get any worse from a performance standpoint for the Chiefs and Royals.

Sad part is if the bullpen doesn't waste great starts by blowing wins for Greinke and Wood in the last week... this team would've won 6 of 7 and had a really good shot at avoiding 100 losses.

Speaking of baseball, the Rangers are 2 back in the AL West with 10 to play. Thrilling win the bottom of the ninth over the A's to close the gap from 3 to 2 today.

You can just about switch the Royals won-loss record around and get the Cardinals record. Of course, that would give the Cards a worse overall record..... :banghead:
