I just saw it recently. I thought it was great. Charlie Kaufman is brilliant, and Carrey and Winslet are topnotch. I seriously thought this movie was one of the bests this year. Anyone else seen it?

Nope, but I've been waiting for it to come out on DVD for 2 months. Now that I know it's out I'll be getting it tommorow... :)

ROFL sorry. We have dollar movie theatres here at MU. Not exactly "new" movies. But still....fresh?

Is it still playing? Ragtag or what?

uh, I think it's like a one day thing. They have different movies all the time. But I could be wrong, I'm new to this campus.

My movie of the year, by far. I think this is Carey's best work. Charlie Kaufman is a "genious".

I saw it twice in the theater. I am waiting for it on DVD also. Such a good movie that didn't get enough love from the public when it was at the theater. If you haven't seen it rent it when you can. Great "date" movie and it's not one of those schmaltzy rom-com's that all have the same storyline ie boy meets girl, boy does something stupid girl leaves him, guy realizes what he had and then spends the last 3rd of the movie trying to win her back.

I enjoyed it. It's probablly the best acting job Jim Carrey has pulled off so far.

I'm a big fan of Carrey's more dramatic roles - The Truman Show, The Majestic. Gotta see this though.

I thought he was really good as Andy Kauffman in Man in the Moon.

If you like that movie then you'll probably like Garden State, which I thought was even better.

I have to agree with everyone else. I saw it back when it was in theaters. One of Carey's best jobs on the screen. Maybe I'm a little dumb but it was kinda confusing for a while, but it all comes together. Good movie.

Me to. Carey shows tremendous range for an actor. He is not just a comedian.
