A private Catholic high school in northeast Kansas will record a forfeit after refusing to play football against a public school with a girl player.
St. Mary's Academy doesn't belong to the state high school activities association. So the school can't be disciplined more severely than the forfeit to White City High.
The teams were scheduled to play an eight-man game Friday night at the private school in St. Marys.
White City principal Sid Tanner says when coach Bobby Rehse called to make sure freshman guard Kara Dowell would have her own dressing room, officials said St. Mary's won't play against a girl.
A woman who answered the phone today at the Academy refused comment. Tanner said no one at White City High will have further comment.

I saw her on the local news yesterday...she's not a heifer at all. I'd say she pretty much has the perfect body type.

I heard Whitlock talking about this a few days ago. I think if she can play St. Mary's should STFU and STFD. I can say that because I'm catholic. :p I commend this girls teammates and coaches for strongly supporting her.
