The field is heated. It won’t be sitting on the field at all.

This model was not the highest and accusing me of being idiotic about it is very bad on your part.

This model has backed off by a couple of inches and all the other models have moved closer to its predictions. I posted this particular model because every winter there is a particular model that seems to be more accurate/consistent with picking the storms up and this winter this is the model that is.

I accept your apologies.

We'll be fine!

Chiefs will be fine. Missouri just blows ass when it comes to snow removal so the fans will be much more effected if the current model runs verify.

It's our advantage.

Colts might not need Luck to do much. Chiefs run defense is terrible and snow games usually force both teams to run the ball.

Yeah I can't see how any Chiefs fans can really think that this is a good thing. I agree that if conditions get to a certain point, the passing game is impacted, which is not good at all for us. It focuses more attention to the run game, which we all feel the Colts have a strong advantage. For all you lovers of football in the snow, how about you flip on some CFL games to get your fix. For us, the better the weather conditions, the bigger advantage we have. THIS team is not built for sloppy January snow games.

Would expect a tarp covers it as well for majority of storm. As has been stated, this will more likely be a problem for fans. I know just getting out of my neighborhood is going to be rough.

Darksky.net, which uses a few models for their "hyperlocal" forecast, has the stadium at 1-2 inches total, done by 8am Saturday.

They are usually pretty good, but theirs is all computer generated.

We are built for January. It depends on if mahomes can grip the football. If he is, we have a huge advantage. The Colts become one dimensional. We don't. Luck was bad bad in warm and rainy conditions in Jacksonville. And his arm hasn't been tested in windy conditions post surgery.

That's not getting into how Colts won't have nearly the same speed on grass.

Just need it to be cold for these dome pussies. Dome teams are just soft.

JoeyChuckles 01-10-2019 01:13 PM

Colts are 3-4 outside this season, 8-2 indoors including playoffs.

Yeah he sounds like someone not going to the game. Having set out in it for over 25 years out at Arrowhead, the actual sitting in the conditions is the easy part. It is getting in and out of the complex that will be the royal pain in the rear. In a perfect world people heading to the stadium would like to contend with ZERO snowfall. Just one less thing to have to contend with. That explains why many going to the game might be agitated by 3-5" of snow.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for KC. This is below a Winter Storm warning on the NWS scale. As of now it's looking a bit warmer than they thought it was going to be, rain not changing to snow until late Friday or early Saturday in KC. Still done snowing by around noon Saturday.
