This shouldn't matter to Pioli since Sanchez has done two things.

1. He performs in games.
2. He chose to come out and perform at the combine.

No, I'm not. He had two throws.

#1 was to Derrick Williams. Underthrow
#2 was to Jaison Williams. Perfect throw, bad route and the WR fell down.

you must be watching a different combine than the rest of us.

There no doubt was a lot of pressure for him to play well in the Rose Bowl after a good season, and he came out and had one of the better performances you'll ever see.

I'll take what he does in games over a workout.

Derrick Williams hasn't helped himself either, but the kid in game s has performed, so I'll take that kid in the draft in the right spot also.

I just don't think he is ready. I think he is immature. He didn't listen to his coach or his parents about going back to school. I wonder how well he will take coaching.

The pass right before Sanchez threw was thrown by Mike Reilly and was thrown 5 yards OOB.

Yeah, I think the excitement over passing drills is misguided.

How he throws in game situations >>>>>>>>> how he throws in an awkward situation where there's no rush and he's in shorts

It's just not that important.

I just rewound my DVR, and Sanchez's first throw was to #43, and was a good 5 yards OOB. The second was to #44, and was underthrown.

The next QB, #19 (lefty) threw a good pass on the first, and the receiver (#45) fell down.

You do realize that you are talking to an audience who wants him to fail and will take a throw that he makes to any scrub and think that is more important than the entire Rose Bowl.

Ok then.

He's a bust.

Yes. Pete Carroll knows something.

He knows he has a lot better chance of competing for a NC with Mark Sanchez than with Mitch Mustain.

Oddly, he put the full court press on Mitch Mustain because he was so 'confident' in Sanchez's ability last year.

The thing I heard coming into the combine was that Sanchez would help his stock because physical talent was beyond question.

It is amazing how good a QB can look with a terrific coaching staff and great talent.

Actually, I want to draft a QB that doesn't have a million question marks, and that can make basic throws

Ooookay. Just trying to set the record straight. Lighten up, Francis...

Sanchez didn't impress me today at all...he's no Matt Ryan that's for damn sure.

Do you want a QB that excels in game situations or practice?

Actually, you have a bunch of guys that are trying to justify Sanchez as the #3 pick.

There is NO ONE that would say that he did a good job in those drills. I think he needed to do better.

He certainly isn't doing much to win over his critics.
