Sure thing...when you stop pretending that Kevin Walter's any better.

Last year in 9 games... 600+ yards and 4 TD's.
Project those numbers out over a full year...and...I'll take it.

I'll take the younger guy that produces consistently over the older guy that produces once ever five years EVERY TIME.

That's why you draft Golden Tate/Arrelious Benn/Mardy Gilyard in about 7 weeks.

Instead of signing a guy for the same price whos 28 and then filling another position in the draft? Thats ****ing brilliant man.

That's the ****ing problem, Zilla.

People are content with stopgaps, instead of going out an actually, you know, improving the team.

Come on...

That's funny considering you're pimping a player that has had one productive season in his last five, yet seems to think he'll be fine for the next two years.

Fair enough. We can agree to disagree...
I can get behind an argument of adding Walter in WITH Chambers.
Walter OVER Chambers? No...

At the end of the day, all we're saying is this team needs to get off it's ass and stop sitting on the sidelines in free agency.

We're not asking them to sign high priced big name players.

We're just asking them to sign some decent role players instead of the useless ****ing scrubs that they've been parading through here.

That makes no sense! pay the guy whos 4 years older with the same amount of production than the guy whos 28?

Titty Meat 03-07-2010 08:40 PM

Mic did you jerk off in your tears when Roaf retired?

He outplayed the younger WR...just last year.
Not sure why you keep glossing over that fact.

When you're rebuilding, you have to have stopgaps. I don't see any kind of problem here. If you see a WR you really like in the draft, you take him and you let him learn either behind Chambers or in the slot. The last thing you want is to walk into the draft with a bunch of urgent needs you need to fill right away.

I'd rather a 2-year stopgap than give a 5-year deal to an average second-contract guy who'd just be stealing playing time from someone better. From that standpoint, Chambers is a better option than Walter, because at least Chambers and the Chiefs probably both know that he'll be there for 2-3 years max.

Gracie Dean 03-07-2010 08:42 PM

Oh god, I can't stand him.

All I can think about is "Scott Farcus" from A Christmas Story when I hear this name

If you spent half as much time researching and thinking through your jokes as you did these lame ass one liners you keep littering every thread with...you might be able to contribute to Chiefsplanet one day.

Chambers outplayed Walter JUST LAST YEAR.
Compare their ypc averages...then check back.

You keep overlooking the fact that Chambers was the #1 option Walters wasn't.

And Walters outplayed Chambers the 2 years before.
