Good news, Mr. KnowMo2724. I'm not sure if wearing a bear skull and shaking a leather bag of chicken bones over his ouchie is going to do much good, though.

Bentley's injury was pretty nasty, I think they had film of it during a training camp report. There's no video of Clady's injury, so no way to know if its that serious.

I would bet all I have on Clady missing the year. I wouldn't go so far as to say his career is over, but no one is seriously stupid enough to expect him back by week 1 and that he will be 100% this year.

WTF does being the best microfracture surgeon have to do with repairing a torn tendon?

Buckhalter missed the 2002 season because of an ACL tear - he played 0 games.

Buckhalter missed the entire 2004 AND 2005 seasons because of a ... torn patellar tendon in his knee.

Two seasons - I don't know how his injury compares to Clady and I don't recall what people were saying about his pending return within the first week after the injury.

You drew the comparison.... so there is your fact.

Cadillac Williams tore his patellar tendon late in 2008. He played every game in 2009 ... and had his best season.

He also tore one in 2007, and missed 14 months.

And 2009 was not his best season. 2005, his rookie year, was better in every rushing statistic. 2009 he didn't get over 1000 yards.

He got over 1000 all-purpose, more TDs, MUCH fewer fumbles, and he played every game for the first time in his career. And his coaches say it was a better year. Of course, what do they know?!

But that's all a side issue... The point is THAT injury didn't hold him back at all. Every injury is different. The only REAL information - not blogger speculation - out there about Clady says "three months."

Hootie 04-29-2010 03:31 PM

no one gives a shit...I don't fear Clady one bit...lets pretend this injury didn't happen and make sure he's in the lineup when the Chiefs play them so Hali can get his 3 sacks...

There are about 1000 uses for blubber. Maybe more. Eskimos use blubber for all kinds of things. Here are just a few uses for blubber:

1. Blubber soup.
2. Fried blubber sandwiches.
3. Heating oil.
4. Lamp oil.
5. Blubber tacos.
6. Lubricant.
7. Little decorative animals molded out of blubber.
8. Blubber fight ammo.
9. Hat.

And there you go. Nine uses for blubber.

Just saw Ryan Clady walking from weight room back to main building. No crutches, no limp when walking. Looked much better than in mid June.

Saw Hali run around him and laugh before he could stop him.
