Yea, she's a friggin loon. I wish Jimmy would have finished her off...ah...strangling her that is...

The finale is definitely going to be good.

I'm glad Van Alden's murder finally caught up with him. That has been bugging me since last season. How does he kill a dude in front of 70 people and get away with it.

For God's sakes, you can't even watch an HBO series anymore without seeing this sh#t.

Nasty.

Shocking content on an HBO show?? No way!!!

They've been hinting at the "Jimmy used to nail his mom" thing for awhile now.

At least it somehat ties in with the story line (i.e. the reason he went into the service), but its a bit odd that the 2 biggest series on HBO have heavy incest undertones.

So - with Van Alden now presumably out of Nucky's legal picture (and therefore weakening his ties to the Schroeder murder), I'm curious to see how they get him out of the Federal Election Rigging and Prostitution charges.

The real Nucky Johnson did time in prison, didn't he?

Great Expectations 12-05-2011 09:53 AM

Nucky didn't go to the pen until the early 40's.

The mother fucking scene was very unsettling, but you knew it was coming. Every time I see Dabney Coleman, I think of the movie 9 to 5. I laughed when he got stabbed.
Nelson is one of my favorite characters. He's wound pretty tight. Scene when he flees prosecution was great. "Now for my next impression.....Jesse Owens!"

Agreed on Dabney Coleman and agreed on Van Alden.

I thought they were setting things up for Van Alden to start boinking the young Dutch housekeeper / nanny.

Have you seen Revolutionary Road? Michael Shannon steals the whole movie.
