Even if he didn't play ST he was worth the pick as a nickel back alone. Oh wait I forgot you have to be a HOF player to be worthy of a CP 2nd round pick. |
I just watched it. It was actually Carr that spots the ball. Arenas makes the stop. But that was lucky because he was a shit pick.

Nice! With 7 Sacks Tamba Hali leads is tied for first place in the AFC. He's on pace to have a great double digit sack season.

That MMA and jujitsu training that Tamba has been doing... whatever it is, has certainly made his hands stronger and quicker.
http://www.kimsmartialartsavon.com/a...ims-nfl-career He has been studying different shit each offseason for the last couple years, from what I remember. It is truly paying dividends. |

Hali is making Bills fans think their RT should be replaced.

BossChief 2009:
When This team gets an inside push and has good play from the opposite OLB, Hali will be a 12-15 sack per year type player. BossChief 2010: Told ya so! ... Also: note that he seems to have stepped his game up even more this last game ONCE STUDEBAKER GOT SOME MORE PT Another told ya so from the Boss! I SAID GOOD DAY SIR! |

I like his strength and speed combo though. |
Those two are gonna crash quarterbacks for years....I agree he needs to develop some more moves, but the kid surely has the talent to be a very good pass rusher. The better he does in this category, the more work the team will push him in that area.
If this staff didn't feel that way, we would have probably taken Kindle or Misi in the second. He was a extremely effective pass rusher in college...granted it was at a smaller school, be a lot of the great ones were as well. |

Oh, now it's not just defensive player of the year. It's ****ing MVP OF THE LEAGUE.
3. Brandon Flowers, Kansas City (55 points): Flowers appeared on all but one ballot, and is more or less replicating the Darrelle Revis season from a year ago — like Revis in 2009, he’s being targeted plenty and doing the job (37.4 defensive passer rating). And Flowers Island has an even better ring to it. 4. Tamba Hali, Kansas City (48 points): Monster pass-rusher wasn’t listed on three ballots, probably because of his so-so run defense, but 53 total QB disruptions in seven games? Sick. 8. Jamaal Charles, Kansas City (18 points): You don’t average 6.5 yards a carry over a half season in the NFL, period. But Charles is doing it, behind a good-not-great Chiefs line. As a bonus, he’s great in the receiving game (+2.5) and a solid pass-blocker (+1.1). |
Flowers is a 2nd tier CB and can't be compared with Revis or Asomugha. And if I was a coach, I would have cut Hali on my first day.
