Nah.

Having a guy like Moss open up the field a bit for Charles, McCluster and Moaki wouldn't do us any good at all.

I mean, we haven't been saying all season that Bowe's mis-cast as a #1 and that he needs a legitimate deep threat alongside him in order to make him the elite #2 his talent says he should be or anything.

C'mon folks - WRs are dicks. They always have been and likely always will be. There are maybe 3 or 4 guys in the league that can help this WR corps as much as Randy Moss and I don't think Detroit or Houston are real inclined to send us their gamebreakers anytime soon. To simply say "no, Moss will hurt us" is just naive.

First team in line that claims him, gets him.

@Adam_Schefter Teams likely to consider claiming Randy Moss on waivers: Cowboys, Redskins, Rams, Bears, Dolphins, Raiders, Chiefs, Jets, Patriots.

Did he quit in his rookie year? It's been a while and I know stats don't tell the whole story, but over 1300 yards and 17 TDs plus 148 yards and 2 TDs in the playoffs. Pretty good for quitting. As far as the Raiders, while he did not play well I would say that falls well into the "not winning" category. That whole team was/is a cancer. I didn't think he quit on the Pats and he definitely didn't quit in his first season.

The guys clearly an asshole, but has shown that when put in a good position, he can be a game changer. Low risk, high reward. Take him if we can get him.

he quit on the vikes this year (a)

and he quit on a winning pats team (b)

and he's quit on every team he's been on....people can claim he be teh awesome for us, but not for any reason grounded in reality...

he's been essentially cut twice THIS year....

hey, sign the guy....but spare me the 'he'll play hard for us because' bullshit....

If he is claimed by SD, any sports media is going to be unbearable to watch or listen to...

the superbowl birds with be flying in the news again..

Raider employees have spent the last 20 minutes trying to get Al Davis to remember that Randy already played there once.

He has a choice. He can choose not to play.

I don't know Brock. I would be willing to bet that SOMEONE will take a chance on the trash can.

Miami would be interesting. Henne would have Marshall and Moss as his #1 and #2....and that would Bess in the slot.

It's a curse. I guarantee whoever picks him up is going to start losing.

Remember Eddie Kennison...

...and I would argue about his "quitting the pats."

All of those teams are viable options except the Cowboys, Raiders and Jets.
