I wonder if the Donks will get Locker. I really don't see them winning more than a game next year, but it will be a preseason game, but doesn't count in Hali's world.

As for Luck, I really don't think it's all that terrible of a decision, or even the wrong one. He must feel pretty confident in the likelihood he will be somewhere near where he is now at this point next year. And maybe it's not ALL about the money to him. I'm sure the decision is probably what he wanted, and if that's the case I think at the end of the day it's the right decision.
Also, if he came from a poor family it'd be a different situation. But he doesn't. The chances of him being pretty much financially set for the rest of his life in a short amount of time is probably extremely close to 100% (I've heard his family is very rich). And like I said, it's probably not all about the money or he'd be in the draft. He's showing that he values a degree from Stanford, there's nothing wrong with that. Maybe he really wants another chance at a national title too. It could be a number of things. I just stand by the idea that if what he did makes him happy, it's the right decision. Everything else should still be there for sure him almost for sure. |
Stupidest smart kid on the planet.

What kills them is at this point they only have 3 picks in the first four rounds, and none from #2-#64. They will, however, get a pretty high comp pick for losing Peppers, that may be at the ass end of the third round, maybe even the second. It wouldn't be the worst option in the world for them to give Clausen a year, draft Green as a playmaking WR, and use some of their other picks to add a security blanket at TE, while strengthening the interior DL and back seven. Otah coming back along with Gross should solidify the OL. |

Who knows? Maybe he doesn't feel like he's ready to go to the NFL yet? |
Wonder if the unknown lock out for 2011 season had any barring on his decision. If he declares him self for NFL & gets drafted but no season to play, that wouldn't be cool for him. This hold up for the NFL is really puting a bind in all kinds of senarios to be played out. I'm not too confident that we will have a season next year, & that would major suck! It would make since in this case to stay eligible for college just in case there isn't NFL. I'm just speculating on this.
NFL is going to really **** over the fans and themselves if they lock out. It's a no win for any body at that point. Billions of dollers will be lost in revenue & fans will turn on them for a long time. I think hocky is trying to make a come back, but it will never be up to what it was before there lock out season. Unless that's what they put on tv to replace NFL then hocky could make huge stride in returning to major television networks. I make NFL & Chiefs football a big part of my life. I love it. I pray that they get it resolved ASAP. |

I think it's the stupidest move he could've possibly made. Nothing good can come out of it.

If he shows promise, great. If not, you have a good situation for a QB in next year's draft - whether it's Luck, Barkley, or someone else - to walk into. |
Let's call Luck stupid for valuing his education at Stanford.
