That's pretty much what I was thinking. I have read a coupkle other people opinion that Baldwin is another Bowe... He's caught what? 2 catches in preseason? hmmm.... just don't see it.

I tallied up the "expert" Week 3 picks to see who they think will lead the Luck Bowl. 10 experts from ESPN, CBS & USA Today:

Sandy Eggo over Chiefs..... 10-0
Panthers over Jacksonville.. 10-0
Steelers over Colts............10-0
Arizona over Seattle..........10-0
Baltimore over Rams..........10-0
Detroit over Vikings............9-1
Cleveland over Miami..........6-4

Teams the "experts" say have the best chance to go 0-3: KC, Indy, Seahawks, Rams

P.S. Oakland over Jets..... 6-4

Man, can you imagine if the Chiefs are the only 0-2 team not to win this week? They'd be in the driver's seat!

It's funny that the closer we go to 0-16, the closer we go to 16-0.

That's how it feels, anyways.

i wonder what the record is for point differential over 3 consecutive loses?

we could establish a running record week after week

Yeah I know what you mean. Our division rivals better hope we start winning, because if we get Luck and put the other pieces together we'll be owning the AFC West for a long time.

A compromise can be brokered. I have no problem rooting for those other teams* to win. Instead of the Chiefs to lose.

*this does not include the Broncos

Using pro-football-reference.com, I could probably find the largest point differential over any 3 game stretch, but in terms of the first three games of the season, the 2001 Redskins were outscored 112 to 16, for a -96 point differential...the Chiefs are already at -79.

Weren't we a part of that? I think Priest Holmes ran for 200+ on them.

That's going DOWN.

Did you use this page or another? You can sort by point differential here.

Vikings up 20-0 over the Lions.

If we can make them beat us next week they could drop right out of this race!

kysirsoze 09-25-2011 12:35 PM

Dolphins are winning, too. Just need Carolina to step it up.

Hammock Parties 09-25-2011 02:22 PM

The Vikings tied the Lions.

A tie is better than a loss, so that's good for us.
