The foundation is set and some of the hood ornaments are already there. We just need the Bentley to put it all together.

Pioli gives you Matt Cassel as your QB. He blames you for Cassel's suckage in 2009, and forces Weis on you to fix him. Weis watches the tape, and laughs at Cassel, and refuses to work with the guy. Am I missing something?

Because the Patriot Way is bullshit without Tom Brady.

The biggest concern, however, is that there are serious reasons to believe that the Pioli hire was a disastrous move.

Doesn't matter. It's going to be a Pioli-puppet either way.

They'll either hire someone from the tree that already believes in all this bullshit, or they'll hire someone weak who they think they can force their beliefs on.

Lose-lose either way.

Not sure what Haley believed in. The Cardinals way? That's going real well without Warner. The Steeler way? Doesn't get you anywhere without Big Ben/Bradshaw.
