Franchise tag for Orton is a joke. I think you argue for the transition tag but I still think that is too much money for Orton.

Hopefully all three are back next season.
I'd prefer Orton to Cassel.

I know there are mixed opinions on Bowe in Chiefs kingdom, but Baldwin hasn't shown enough for me to believe he'll be a major contributor next year. This is not the time to part with your #1.

Carr is...well...every bit as good as Flowers and deserves a similar contract.

Bowe and Carr are homegrown players so bringing them back sends the right message to stars of the future like Houston, Bailey and Baldwin.

Its not as simple as that. Orton isn't going to come back to compete if he can get a clear starting job somewhere else.
