Gimme Orton and and Trent Richardson.

Let's go!

I can see Richardson going to the Browns now that RGIII is out of the picture in Cleveland.

Stanzi has potential to be better than both either Casshole or Orton. I'm not saying he is our savior or anything but he has the ability to take over and play good for us provided he gets the opportunity. **** both Casshole & Orton. Let's see what the hell Stanzi can bring and in the mean time watch the QB class for next years draft.

Well we know Cassel can't play and I would hate to put all our eggs in one basket and just hope Stanzi can play. At least we know Orton can be "serviceable" while we actually find a QB that can play. God the scenario I just typed out sounds so ****ing pathetic.

I would rather the Chiefs go with Stanzi then with Orton. Orton may have won 2 0f 3 games with the Chiefs last year but he wasn't all that impressive. Signing Orton just to replace Cassel is just going to shift the Cassel hate to Orton hate once he gets the job and doesn't do much with it.

I'd rather hate a reasonably prices Orton than a Matt Cassel.

Stanzi doesn't have to have the pressure of winning, just getting better as the season progresses. Orton is going hold us back from discovering what the kid has good or bad. We can win games with Orton & we can win sucky games with Casshole with the team we have. That's what sucks about them both is that they will never get us to the next level in the playoffs or beyond. We can't say Stanzi is or isn't the guy for that just because he hasn't had the opportunity to play and get better at it during a season. He may throw shit load of INTs, but as long as he is learning and getting better each week that's what matters.

Canofbier 03-11-2012 09:38 PM

My thoughts have pretty much been covered by others already. I'd rather risk an awful season for the chance at a very good team than have one that's almost sure to be "just good". Stanzi > Orton

Would Shane Falco have played any better if Lou Gossett, Jr. played his coach?

Carson Palmer... Tell me you wouldn't like to have him in KC
