HATE the current format. |

unless you are getting reggie white you might as well just get blue collar workhouse type guy in the middle rounds. constantly flushing 1st round picks down the sinkhole 5tech position trying to find a guy that can overcome the inherent disadvantage that the scheme causes is just a waste. we will get better bang for our bucks filling up other positions until we get lucky in the mid rounds or Reggie White falls into our laps. |

It means if you don't have really good players there, you get your ass handed to you. |

right now Pioli is going after the 5-tech position like most teams go after quarterbacks. He's dumping money, picks etc into the position like it's gold while he ignores nose tackle and Quarterback. I hate it in 10 years we will have four top 10,1st rd 5techs on our roster while still having tyler palko's son at QB. it's dam stupid |

I was debating whether 3-4 DEs are very important. So were you, until just now when you shifted to "should we spend our picks there rather than NT or QB." The Steelers, Jets, Patriots... many 3-4 teams flush 1st round picks at the DE position, because it's incredibly important. |

All positions are important but it's also position relative. Why take a 5tech in the 1st round and maybe improve your defense a fraction when you could take another position where you could improve your TEAM a bunch? when shooting for the moon i would rather draft 5tech in the 2nd/3rd round and hope we hit instead of flushing first round picks and huge money down the drain hoping we find reggie white. |
Yes!!!
one hundred and forty-seventh!!!! |
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Handful of teams actively doing last-minute work last on Baylor WR Kendall Wright, trying to figure out where they need to be to take him. |
interesting to see where Wright goes
i've seen him projected as high/low as mid 1st to 3rd rd |
